Two Weeks Down
We have now finished the required two-week visitation period! Hopefully we will find out our exact court date later today. Our translator thinks maybe Monday, and after that we'll have Jonna with us all the time. In the mean time, we continue to visit her at the baby house...
Yesterday our translator gave us a short tour of the city. Below is a typical wooden house, but most people live in Soviet-era brick apartment buildings.

Sherry and family--it is so amazing to see how much joy is in Jonna's face. Her expression has changed totally from when you started your blog. I loved the video of her laughing!! Too precious. Julian looks like he's getting along great. All good!
K-Stan is a very interesting place. Looking forward to your return. I miss you.
The blog totally made me cry - it was very moving. And then hearing her laugh really brought out the sobbing! So, so beautiful. Can't wait to meet her!
