No News Yet

I'm sorry to say the situation has not changed since my last post. The hold up is a document called a "Letter of Invitation," which must be issued by the region from which we are adopting. Without this letter, we can't get our visas. Unfortunately, the government agency that issues the letters is running behind and won't say when they will sign ours. It could be days... or weeks.

This type of glitch is common in international adoption, but it is still difficult. It has been more than a month since we first saw our daughter's face, and we are eager to be with her.
